The SNP chief spoke to Radio Clyde’s Ewen Cameron about a number of topics including whether similar protests in memory of George Floyd should ago ahead in Scotland this weekend.

And Ms Sturgeon was asked outright if she thought President Trump is a racist.

She replied: “I think sometimes it’s hard to not conclude that.

“I don’t know what goes on inside Donald Trump’s head, but I do know that the language you use and how you express yourself matters and if you don’t want to be accused of racism, don’t use racist language.”
