The Daily Record reports:
PASSENGERS who shared a flight to Edinburgh with Scotland’s first confirmed coronavirus patient were not traced because public health officials did not think he was infectious, it’s been claimed.
The country’s first Covid-19 victim came down with a fever days after returning home from Italy on February 26.
The 51-year-old’s case was revealed on March 2 when ex-chief medic Catherine Calderwood said health protection teams would do a “detailed history” of people he’d come into contact with.
But Edinburgh Airport staff had to seek advice after they learned of the case on TV.
