Another referendum would once again feel to me exactly like it did in 2014, namely: Like my brother or sister (Scotland), for no apparent reason, telling me (England) he/she didn’t want to see me any more! And this after three hundred years together, through thick and thin, including wars! On an emotional level, the prospect of this saddens me deeply. On a personal level, having taken my family to Aberdeen from Kent in 1988, they would all then be living in a completely different country to their dad and grandad (I now live in North Yorkshire)!
